He came across some great hermits, who advised him to do Pausha Putrda Ekadashi Vrat after recognizing his nagging concern. The king became ecstatic to know the solution to his piercing problem of not having any son. Soon, he reached his kingdom and narrated the story to the queen of his encounter and suggestions of hermits. Both king and queen started to do Pausha Putrada Ekadashi Vrat and follow the ritual with high devotion. The lord Vishnu became pleased to see their unceasing devotion towards him.
